You're a bit low on budget for an 09-10 12scg. Those are the most sought after buell at the moment. I had to fork over $7500 for my 10 scg just a couple months ago. For 5K you're looking at an 04-07 xb12s or equivalent.

agreed, for an 09 you will prob need like 6k, unless you find a steal or one that needs something. I would bet you could find an 06-07 for 5k in great shape.

I am really looking for next spring. It's a long winter. It's a 2nd bike so I'm not rushed. PLENTY of 1125cr's, but you are right the scg's are harder to come by. Found a CR for $4750, but I just like the SCG better.

Hold out for what you really want man. The scg's are NICE! A few weeks extra searching or even a couple thousand extra is not a biggie if you truly have what you want in the end.

I got my 09 for 5800 with 1025 miles all it takes is time and searching there will be a deal that comes up just be patient. I wanted a 09 because of all black items instead of silver/charcoal grey parts, it was worth it to me.

Thanks for the offer, but I seriously want the all black. Have to agree that the all black just sold me on the XB. This will be a 2nd bike. So while I would love to have one now... it's not like I'm unable to ride.

Hey guys, quick question. I am also in the market ('08+) and comparing the Long to the, S, to SCG. What make the SCG more desireable? I was under the impression the seat was too low and hard? Why did you pick your SCG above an S or Long? I'm 5'9" and looking for comfort, thanks!
