Ok .. I've made some big changes to my toy ..04 XB.
Air intake and a "custom" hand made exhaust .. made a dual exhaust system ... ummm .. because I wanted Too !!!!
It still runs really nice .. maybe a little rich ??
It back fires on hard deceleration .. but it always did ...It's just that you can really hear it now !!
My question is should I get it remapped .. dyno'd ???
or will the computer figure all this out after "the 50 miles" to it's own satisfaction ?????

^[up] the EBR ECM won;t help you because you have a custom system. "theoctopus" is a member here and the "Tuniversity" is his brain child. I haven't had him work over a map for me, but I can higly recommend him from other's responses.

Yes anytime you alter or mod your bike there will be some different sounds and Decelleration Popping is normal for a untuned Engine with a Non Stock Exhaust. Especially with a Stock ECM OR Race Ecm tuned to a Exhaust to match. Did you Straight Pipe the Bike with Duals? Or is there a Dual Exhaust with short Mufflers kind of like a D & D pipe set. Keep you a set of Extra plugs around in case it runs a little Rich. I bet it sounds off pretty good. Ride Safe.*Jimi[cool]
