^^agreed man, he took the words out of my mouth. the amber wheels will probably look better.
and i dont know if its so much the color as it is the open airbox with translucents...no one can ever understand where the gas is lol

Can you still get the factory wheels?
My 9 came with "kick ash," & I bought hero blue to replace it. Have thought I'd like the blue wheels, but not sure if still avail. & probably a lot of $.
The amber wheels with orange plastic seems to look better to me. But I am wondering if the photo with the sunset orange wheels, they are in shadow?

this is the color that i have on my xb12s and i love it. its funny how much more the translucent orange with amber wheels draws attention. there is a few other Buells that i ride with and it never fails when ever we stop people tend to go straight to my bike because of the color and they always trip out because they don't know where the gas goes. there is just something about the translucent orange that puts the bike over the top on looks. but that is my opinion and opinions are like a**holes everyone has one. i can send pictures of my bike, i just don't know how to post them yet.
