Hey there,
(sorry for the bad english...)
I have a question, would a xb9 exhaust fit a xb 12 ?
I think the diameter is smaller from the xb 9, not ?
And is there a differens in the scg,s and ss long exhaust dimensions ?
I would like to buy a used one and cut it open to remove ist guts :)
Thnx !!

All XB12 headers are interchangeable with XB12 regardless of model. Same with the XB9. Difference it primary size. I don't know if an XB8 header will fit correctly on a 12. It may, but again with the smaller primaries you will def lose power.

if i remember right there is a size difference tt/xt have longer mufflers by like a inch. also you can use the xb9 muffler on all xb12 and that goes for all usa models S/R/SCG/TT/XT. the only time you will run into a problem is if you have a international bike then the headers are different sizes. also if your just going to send your muffler in to have it reworked by randy or drummer then it really does not matter.

Im from belgium so its a european bike..
The headers are smaller the the usa version i think.
Its not to send to hawk or drummer, i would rip it open my self..

A xb9 muffler will work on a xb12 and a xb12 will on a xb9.

Hi jdline,
There is a member (moderator) on this forum whose name is LeFox. He can tell you alot about Buells :). He is also from Belgium. Try to find him here (big exhaust topic).
By the way once I have been to Belgium in 2007 in Gent. Nice city and nice beer you have there guys [up]. Westmalle and Orval.
