lightening xb12Ss fairing?

my 06 lightening is screaming for fairing.
does anyody know if the stock ones for the firebolt will fit?
do you need to change the bars to clip on style?
any special mounting tricks?

There is a lot to it, you need a fairing stay, fairing, headlight bracket, change the headlight harness because a firebolt uses a h3 not a h7, the handlebars will work I think people have put lightning bars on a firebolt but I think you need to trim the fairing.

If you just want to cut down the wind then this is another option

A lot of people have the extended flyscreen. They say it helps a little bit with wind buffeting.

yo buddy... why don't you hit up rhynoxb you know he can give you the low down besides he lives close enough to you so you can get a good idea on whether or not you want to mess with it.you will have to buy a stay, headlights, windshield, fairing, mirrors and you will wan t to run at least some crossroads or some low renthals so about $400-$500 or maybe you should think about a ully nose instead

thanks for the responses..and yes..i know rhynoxb did a sweet job with his ride.
i looked at the madstad stuff and not sure i like the look.
i need my bars to be high as i have major back and neck issues though.
just hoping to see what it takes to do the fairing..sounds like quite project.
it might not do much i realize if i want the upright position..and might not look right with the bars like that either.
i was wondering if i got a complete fairing on e bay how much more is needed.
the harness i was not aware of..hmm.

i have not checked out the ully set up yet by the way..gonna peek at some pics now.

i have done quite a bit of fiberglass work in the past..i might get really nuts and fabricate something for it. i have been known to get a wild hair and go crazy when i get an idea. lol.
