I have this problem now, i dont know why but really want to get to the end of it...
the first problem is when i start the bike i even let it worm up for like 5 min, and from idle when i pull on the gas it wants to choke or some times it chokes, once i reach 3000 rpm its no problems, and it smels like there is lot of gas going in there, the moods are a exhaust upgrade and open airbox and the catch can.
the other is the clock is reseting itself to 1.00 all the time, i am new to bikes but i work with cars so i wanna fix it myself just i need to identify what to change or what are youre opinions.
my guess for the choking is oxigen sensor change. for the clock i have no clue. please help, thanks

The clock will usually reset if u have a loose ground somewhere. I would just start by checking all your groinds to make sure they are tight. Did you tune the bike after mods?

no i have not tuned, i was thinking about getting a cable from ebay and go from there, but i am not sure how that works, i know at my Audi i can change a whole lot around with the scanner cable and a laptop, i guess should be similar to it...

There is the tuneiversity offered on here from the octupus on the right of the screen for tuning. What year is your bike?

i just had a similar problem with mine....it turned out that the trickle charge connections on the battery had to be shined up; they were between the cables and the battery terminals and it was causing clock/trip odometer resets/poor starting. even if the connectors look fine, shine them up with a small file or a good wire brush. i put some di-electric grease on all of the connections and put it all back together, starting from the terminal up...the main cable, the trickle charge wire, nut. that way if there is an issue with the trickle charge connection, it doesnt interfer with my starting or other bike operation.

ok so the clock is fine for now but the hesitation still and smells like un burned gas like crazy, so do i need a tune or what you think?
