1125r......maybe trade for XB????

Met a guy at breakfast this morning with an 08 1125r (I parked my lightning in the spot next to his, straight view out of the window). He's got four HD and is looking to get rid of the 1125. Talked for about 20 minutes on buell, my bike. His is stock with about 4k/mi and said he's never seen another buell around, said he'd give it to me for $3500.

Pull the trigger for this price? I've been on one 1125 and didn't get the smile like I did first time on mine, but would consider trading for another XB (and with parts expensive as all hell....) Or keep it if it grows on me.

Yep; just called him to set up a once over and moving money now. Spent all morning checking the going rate on 1125's and the 08's even seem to have fewer issues than the 9/10's. Awesome that the season in N. IL is just about over too [mad]

Woot. Just brought my new bike home. I don't have a camera, but I may get one just for this day! This even beats the deal on my xb so I'll be grinning for a month while eating ramen. Haven't had a bike in 5 years and now two.
