I was wondering if this could cause any issues with the race ecm. I have the white wire plugged in that connects to the race ecm, but have no actuator installed...will that make the bike run differently? Should it be plugged in along with the actuator or just be unplugged? Sorry if its a stupid question but I thought possibly for some reason the ecm needs to communicate with it.

I think with the race ecm it is disabled, so you can unplug it. If you had the standard ecm, it would throw an error code if you were to unplug it.

Edit:but personally, if it's not causing a problem as is...

I just bought my 04 xb12 with the race kit and the actuator is still plugged in. Can I remove it or do I need to buy the emulator fot it? Sorry to jump in on your thread but figured a good place to ask this.
Appreciate any info on this. -Arthur-

Does your bike have the race ecm also, if so you can unplug it and take it off.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just unplugged the white wire since it really has no purpose, appreciate the response vroom. No problems Arthur, its a good place to ask about it. ;)

Ya I've got the race ecm and the cable to the exaust is gone, but the servo is still hooked up on top of my airbox. So just unplug it and leave the wire run up on the airbox? Whats the emulator for? All new to me since my upgrade from my xb9. Thanks again.

Since you have the race ecm you don't need the "servo emulator" because its been disabled in the race ecm which stops the check engine light from going on. If you had the stock ecm installed and the actuator disconnected the check engine light goes on from time to time so the servo emulator could be purchased and connected to stop the light from going on. You can also disable it on the stock ecm using ecmspy rather than buying the servo eliminator.

Good deal I'll head out to the barn and remove it then. The PO had the cable removed by the dealer when they put the race kit on, but they left the servo on it and kept the cable. So now to go back to stock I'd need the cable, I've got everything else. Don't think back to stock is in the near future though! :D
Appreciate all the info Ride Safe -Arthur-
