lookin at a 12

looking to upgrade to a 12 even though I still love my 9, wanting a little more passenger room for the wife. been reading the reviews & on here about the Ss seems like that would be about right my ? is I'm 5'8 would the Ss be to big for me? read alot about how six footers say it fits just right. any input appreciated thanks.

no, you'll be fine but.... here is some food for thought. if you are going to do alot of two up riding you might want to look into a ulysess. you will have the room and a passenger back rest

Im 5'8" and ss is to tall for me. My friend has a 09 12ss i barely get my toes on ground. I have a 04 12s and it fits me perfect.

thanks alot for the replies, I guess what I'm really getin at is there enough more room for a passenger on the SS to justify getting one or would my money be better spent just getting a custom seat for my 9s? Loren @ baldwin said he could make a two up seat that would be alot more comfortable for both of us. thats what I was gonna do to start with till I got interested in the ss. I know the extra power would be great but the seat is several $$$$ cheaper. Probably 95 percent of my riding is alone but when she does go just want it to be comfy for her to. opinions welcome, thanks
