my switch went bad so i ordered one itll be here in a week. got any tips from anybody thats done it before?

ill take it that with a few views and no comments its not something peeps come across much or its easy to do. so i reckon when it comes in ill take some pics each step for future reference for us all.

very easy. it's right behind front sprocket cover and single pole wire going to it. comes right out with....i think it was a 1/2 inch 6 point deep well socket. piece of cake to do it.

on a side note is it me or are yall not so impressed with how they tuck the wires in a big bunch down there, looks like its a cut wire waiting to happen even with them little plastic bars to keep it in place imo

yea i feel the same way....had one wire start to get rubbed through so i wrapped them up

dam my front sprocket is gto some heavy surface rust on it. looks like ima take it off and clean it up a bit. went ahead adn shimmed down a socket for the task as well....180 grit on a polishing jack wheel adn it was done in no time lol.
on a side note metal polishing adn plating on the side makes a man hate chrome hehe, but peeps with a pocket full seem to love it.
