Do you think someone at EBR Racing reads through the forums for ideas/fixes to incorporate into the next generation "Buell"?

...and yes, I know the new line of bikes will be under the label of "EBR Racing", but it's still a "Buell" to me:D

I have wondered the same thing. If they were serious about pleasing the consumer and had anyone with a brain doing market research they would undoubtedly get involved on the forums and see what people are thinking.

For the same reason 5-0 said he was suspending his dialogue on his products. Don't want to get scooped on ideas and want to keep the suspense up for the next bike.

All major companies who market products well do serious market research and a large piece of that are focus groups. What better focus group is there than a Buell specific forum. I'm not saying they would use buellxb specifically as their focus group, but throwing out ideas from time to time to get reactions from the die hards would seemingly be both an inexpensive and effective way to research, which for a 'start-up' company is critical. There is almost no better medium for marketing than through social media. You have instant mass audience, demographic specific audience, and most people in this form of social media, specifically forums are brutally honest because they can 'hide' behind the computer.

I personally think it would help out EBR tremendously if they threw a bone out to the higher end Buell forums from time to time.
