H-D is under contract to fly the Buell signs under the H-D sign till a certain time at most dealerships that once sold Buells (kinda like we were promised 7 years of parts availability). Some do it solely because of legal obligability, some still have a little pride.

I do love seeming them up, I saw several on my trip from Mo to Fl last year and it brought a smile every time I saw em. Good catch[up]

there is a huge buell banner in the shop at my school adn my teacher i think has it up solely to mess with my emotions. hd of atl has one in thier storage trailor brand new still in the box sorta speak. heard through the grape vine its going up for sale to the highest bidder at auction when they trade out for new riders edge training bikes. i would put some lights in it adn use it as a porch light.

When I was on vacation this summer the HD guys I was riding with wanted to stop at every dealer along the way. I always looked for Buell shirts, and asked at one that was a Buell dealer, but he said they didn't carry "that stuff" when Buell was still in business.

Half of the dealers we stopped at were really HD shirt shacks without a single bike on the floor.

I'm pretty sure they keep their signs up to show that they still service Buells and sell Buell parts. I know if you just go to a Harley dealer around here, they won't service a Buell, sell Buell parts, or sell a Buell that has been traded in.

Always pretend like the parts aren't available anymore and wont even look them up to order them
