I just put dunlops on mine 2 days ago. Duel compound.

Running a set of Pirelli Angels on mine. Great traction on dry and wet.

By the way, asking about tires is like asking about oil. At least that was my experience.

the dunlop sportmax Q2 is an awesome tire. grip is amazing and the hard center section handles wear well. i routinely commute on the highway and i dont have a flat spot. i hit the corners pretty hard on weekends to keep it round though. the harder compound is narrower than on the michelins i think which is a good think IMO. about 5300 miles on the set right now, still have a good amount left.

Ive had the michelins pilot power and they were ok.. nothing great. They look the best on the bike. Ive got pirelli diablo now,and love them. If theres one thing italians know other than wine, its motorcycles and tires.... and cars too I guess.

I'm in the process of making/finishing a guide for tires from Michelin, pirelli,Dunlop and Metzler. I have Michelin and pirelli done and up and trying to get the time to finish Dunlop and Metzler. Tire guide (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/General-Motorcycle-Chat/The-Tire-Guide)

I've been running BT016 for a few tires. I'm very happy with them. I like them much better than PP2ct's and diablo corsa III's.

I haven't tried any dunlops

I have the stock 2009 xb9sx tires. Anyone want to buy my rear tire so i can have a reason to buy a 200mm tire?
