Right now I have a 09 xb12ss but I just can't bring myself to except that I might lay it down so I'm looking for a track day bike. I was leaning to a 1125r but I'd like to hear what you guys think. Thanks.

just so you know it can happen on the street just as easy,if not easier then the track.

but if i was you i would just run your buell in "c" class. then when you get the hang of it buy some race tires then bump to "b" all the while taking it easy. if you find that it is something you like to do then spend the $3000 for a 02-06 r6 or a 02-05 gsxr750 for a track bike if you want to be fast and competitive.

I'm w/ these guyz... a 600 inline 4 or small cc v-twin has MORE than enough HP to scare the shiz out of you @ a novice track day. Get 3 or 4 track days under your belt and then start shopping for a bigger bike. By then, you'll know exactly what you want. :)

Unfortunately I and my ninja found this out the hard way.
I guess I should have been more specific. I was looking for a Buell to take to the track.

I would recommend a suzuki sv650 2003 and above if tou wait a very fun, 650cc v twin for the track. I used to have one, and good lord it was fun. Nothing compared to my 1125R, but a fun, responsive, flickable bike. I wouldnt recommend an 1125 unless you have deep pockets, and have experience on liter bikes.

id say 1125r if you got the money or xb12r.
