So fellas I'm thinking about going CF for my plastics on my XB9SX. I'm not sold on the quality of the various items for long term durability.
So if you have CF lets see it and share where you bought it and fit/finish impressions. Cheers.

i got most of mine from eastcarbon on ebay. now i know ALOT of people will tell you about chinese carbon, good and most likley bad things. me, i'm cheap i just wanted to replace the plastic bits with carbon keeping my tank cover & flyscreen stock. i have had no problem with the fit/finish of any of the carbon i have purchased. here's what i have:
-rear hugger
-belt guards (yes i like the looks & functionality of them)
-pulley cover
-chin fairing
-front fender
-oil cooler cover
-right & left scoops
-hand guards
-heel guards

I like CF, I opted for it for this build. I have a few pieces left for an SS STT XB (sprocket cover, belt gaurd and heel protectors $200 for all new).
All my pieces are from American Sport Bike and the fit and finish are excellent.

Carbon:
flyscreen
airbox
front fender
heel guards
If its done right, carbon fiber can look really awesome. I love mine. It looks really good in the sun. The heel guards, flyscreen, and fender are all buell carbon, but the airbox is from ASB.com and it matches almost perfectly. I love the way it looks, especially in the sun. Just dont over-do it.
