View Full Version : more tinkering - subframe spacers

i have seen the DieselMoto spacers that reall set off our bikes in my mind, i just don't feel like spending the $90 for them. so i made my own! basically consisting of an steel conduit, washers and a nut for each side. all stuff had lying around so it was free to me :p

they are a little rough(not shown) but you can't really see them and i really like how the bike sits now. here is a little GIF of before and after. a little off because i wiggled the bike and bumped the camera(sorry!)

great DIY, nice job with the camera affect too, much better than having to post a before and after pic:D is the height the same as the production spacer or just about?

i think its close to the ones offered, but i don't have measurements so can't say. but from hole to hole i made them just over an inch apart. i can measure the gap if someone wants to compare with other ones.

i need a better welder so i can make them look nicer, :P lol
