Anyone know how to do it?

Explain it to me like I'm 4.

I bought it from DDM Tuning, the 35w, 3000k pair.

HID INFO

this has links to a DIY and other good info hope it helps

EDIT: just realized you started that thread as well haha my bad...

Haha, that was my thread too; thanks.

No time delay.. I was told by a couple of people that I don't need it.

you dont honestly "need it" its nice to have, and will just probably make the lights have an easier life.

but if not then its pretty plug and play if i remember correctly, unplug the old headlights, and connect the posative end of the DDM lights to replace the old ones. and then ground the old ones......

its been a while since i've done mine, might want to wait for others to post up or read through some of the DIY threads...

and IDK about the fly screen question, i've got a firebolt so it was easy to hide everything, i actually zip tied the balasts to my fuse box's on the sides. it looks pretty good IMO

i'd start with running some wire from the posative terminal and some wire from the negative terminal to the front end of your bike....

make sure to use a fuse as well!

I opened it up and looked at it last night. I don't have the correct plastic white thing that holds wires.... The only thing I can't do is connect the source of the power to the bulbs. The most important part, of course.

I'm starting to think I should just give it all to a mechanic and let him or her handle everything.

I'm actually interested in this as well. I'm looking at the 6k kit, but was curious as to where everyone is hiding their ballasts.

Anyone have any pics? I've no problem in dealing with the wire routing after that, but I don't want some gaudy dual boxes ruining the look of the bike.

Which part are you missing?

YES, socket housing; the wires coming out of my Buell are not compatible with the tips they give you at DDM.

I went to Pepboys and found a couple of sockets that are compatible; but this means I have to splice wires from the sockets that I bought to the wires that are already on my bike. Is there a simpler solution??

I've already checked out soldering irons and guides on how to solder and whatnot..
