the internals were butchered, remove the center pipe only, and welded the other tow, I need some sound to it but no noise, for that i ran the jardine[smirk]

haha what?!

50k miles is a pretty big number in my book.

...how long do these buells run for anyways? do we have a "highest mile buell" thread anywhere on here?

It looks like your kickstand is stuck behind the exhaust tip?

Then a little soap and water! :D

for what it's worth on the mileage aspect, had a 2003 firebolt in shop this past summer with 58,400 miles on it. always maintained well and ridden gently. motor and trans still going strong, minimal oil consumption. have seen several 2000 and up evo sporsters approaching 100,000 miles that were well taken care of and still in great mechanical shape. have also seen a few buells locally with under 6,000 miles on them that had the piss beaten out of them on a daily basis and were junk. go figure.

i see,

when i first got my xb12 i ran it pretty hard. Bouncing off the rev limiter left and right. I LOVE the top end pull the race kit puts out.

but now-a-days, It's my commuter and i really dont see myself running it as hard anymore. unless i take it out to fool around on the weekends, it rarely sees over 4k rpms
