Lightning Tail Bag

The OEM tail bag (91211-04Y) seems impossible to find. Is there a comparable bag that fits well on the Lightning?

Believe the stock bags were made by cortech. Have the cortech sport bags on my 12R, and seen a few pics of Lightnings with them.

I heard it was Joe Rocket that made the bags... maybe that was just the helmets and jackets. but if you can find a firebolt tail bag it works great. Thats what I have on my lightning. they can be found on ebay anywhere from 70 to 150 bucks.

I used a firebolt bag. They are somewhat larger than the original stock lightning bag. I think they look better anyway. You do have to kind of alter the install but it was simple. I just used the two front straps as tie downs under the seat. My seat has a strap that is screwed on to it underneath that lines up almost perfect with the straps on the firebolt bag. If you find a firebolt bag then get it. I'm sure you can make it work [up]

Knight design. Annodized gold! Good folks over there to work with. I have their sliders and they match my amber rims perfectly.

I tried to get the them from forum sponsor 5-0 Dro, but he didn't have them in gold at the time!

Randy and Alicia are outstanding folks to deal with. I have bought 2"drop pegs,sliders and shift/brake levers from them, oh and my front brake resi cover. I believe the process of color is anodized not painted.

Nice looking bike. I'm curious about the front riding pegs. Is that what I'm seeing. That would be great to stretch the legs on long rides.
