xblights.net has now found a new supplier for smoked and clear tail light lenses! While the site improvements including pictures and information on such lenses is expected to be released by the end of the year, you can email them using the "contact us" section to get the ball rolling! I just wanted to pass on the information! I will be buying smoked lenses myself ASAP! Ride save, and have a happy thanks giving!

I am not sure of the company, as they did not spread that information. However, I am glad to see that they are no longer impossible to get!

If its not Ecliptech, I would pass and just buy one from them. If your dropping big bucks on a led setup why cheep out on the lens. That pos clear alternatives lens in the pic is just sitting in my toolbox if that tells you anything.

Thanks for getting the word out ATF!

Just to clear up on the lenses...

It really comes down to whats behind the lens.
The new supplier we have lined up is CA. I don't like that very much, but it was my only option for what I wanted and to keep costs down.

The ecliptech lens above is a nice lens.
But, the only real difference is the refractor size.

The smaller refractors are GREAT for detail work.
Say if someone wanted a number "8" for the running light, the ecliptech would show this detail very well.
Where the CA would make it blury....

One really neat thing about the ecliptech lens is it makes the light look almost digital. Very neat looking on my full board running lights.

I think the CA lens might be a hair brighter with the larger refractors, but we are not talking much difference.

Truth is, both are good lenses!
A while back I was working with SRW Moto on getting some lenses and at the time they were too pricey. But since then I've realized thats just going to be the price range to pay now...

Eventually I'll have some of the Ecliptech in stock for those who prefer it.

Thank You!

So can I get just a lense? I already have an integrated setup. Mine is setup though where the tail light itself is in the symbol of an X. So I think the ecliptech would work better? How much for just the lense? Preferably smoked

Tony from ecliptech is a great guy also. You guys are lucky he has them available. I had to wait almost a year while he had a new mold made after the original was damaged.
