If no Tampering has been done to a Stock Ecm on any newer Buell it's 18'600plus miles of warranty, OR 5 years from date of purchase from the Dealer.Check with the Dealer if you purchased it from another source. Usually mileage is what they go by. USUALLY! Now you will need to check w/ the Dealer . Look in a manual some at the top of the page here for flash codes. Say a 53 is usually an ecm .What is your bike doing OR not doing? There is no Cheap New ECM. Except Erik Buell racing is Approx., 260.plus shipping give or take a few bucks. He will need to know Every modification you have done to the Bikes Engine.Exhaust/ Air Filter,etc..Check on the Forum here for the way to check for codes. It's pretty simple once you have done it a couple of times.Read up so you can get fimilar with it. When the System starts diagnostic mode from your data port plug- 1 & 2 pins- then 6/flashes fast then a maybe 2/second pause your next set of Blinks(flashes) is your first number. then pause for 2/sec., then slower blinks[that will be your 2nd number]to count. Then it will flash 6/times to exit. I use ECM Spy and Harleys direct link race kit so you might want to get another opinion it's been a little while since I've done diagnostics that way. hope it's an easy fix.*Jimi
