thanks,

Kody

Take a 2x4 or rubber mallet and beat the lower triple off.

on the rear wheel, did you take out the bolt pinch bolt on the bottom of the swing arm?

The rear axle is regular threaded. I used a 5 foot breaker bar. Just gotta commit! Honestly an impact driver is the best bet.

on the triple tree the bearing was seized to the stem and it took on hell of an effort to get it out. The bearing blew up on me before it gave way

Both scenarios were on an 05 R with 22k miles

well as i said, heres the update.

i got the back wheel off with a 3 ft breaker bar and i currently have the triple tree bearings soking in an over the top amount of lube and wd40 cause i tried to hit it out with no effect again so im gonna give it a few day and then try it, i dont have to have it ready for paint till next week so got some time.

thanks again jakestolar
