Ok guys, i took apart my whole front end to get painted and when i put it back together i would check everything was working. Well i would check my lights and they workd fine. Bought brand new ones as a matter of fact (still running H3's). I pull the bike out, find out my throttle for some reason wont spring back (will work on tomorrow, ill just deal with a suicide throttle for now) but i noticed while riding my headlights arent on.

Great, probably shorting out again. Long story short i take it home, take it apart.

No short, i get voltage (somewhat intermediate at times but mainly 10 to 12vdc), so it should work. Lights are still good, and the fuse isnt blown. So there shouldnt be a problem.
I took my whole headlight assembly off (the projector part) and found out i can have voltage of 12vdc, the light plugged in without ground but when i put the ground to it, i get 0vdc. This is how the lights go together so i have no idea how to fix my problem. Any ideas?

Quick Run down:
12-10vdc out the plug and light bulb connectors
No short
Brand new good bulbs
Good fuse
-Wont supply voltage when headlights are fully connected (ground and hot wire)

For your troubles here is a updated pic of the bike.

Ugh? Damn google ad! Missing part of your description! But the bike looks good Loki! [up]

Check that pos 4 into 3 connector for your headlights. Try jumping the ground and see what happens.

Bike looks very nice btw.

Whats a good way to get a connection with the plug off? Its requires to hands just to get a meter on it. Im guessing i need to get some wire and a friend over?

Got the head lights fixed. I just cut the connector off.

Now for the new problem. My throttle. When my handlebars are at full lock to the left (to lock the handlebars) i cant twist my throttle and nothing seems to be pinched or anything. Everything inside is put together right.

Any Ideas?

BUT WAIT THERES MORE.

When im riding and i hit my front brake lightly i can feel something move. Dont know if it is my forks, axle, wheel, bearings, brake, or triple. But i bought a torque wrench so i will torque everything tomorrow and report back.

Pop your airbox off and take a peek at the butterfly while you're trying to GENTLY open the throttle. See if it even looks like its trying to open.

My guess is broken return cable..... well no cause you wouldn't be able to close it while riding. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmb.....

Start with the previous stuff then report back.

Guess I was right about the headlights huh?[up]

does your throttle stick when the bike is locked? or just when its turned all the way to the left? before risking taking everything apart I would try to oil up the throttle and brake lines. See if that makes any significant differences. If not my guess is they are getting snagged somewhere where they go through the fairing stay.

Yeah Now it only wont return when the handlebars are all the way to the left. But i follow the cable down and i get no snags.

You should be able to pull on the cables with them disconnected from the grip. If one yanks out, you've got a broken cable. I'm guessing they are backwards and you're pushing the throttle open instead of pulling it.

Torque stuff, check the floating rotor and your brake pads. Make sure the pads are seated correctly. If you lift the front end, you should be able to tell if it's a bad bearing by feeling for play.

Check for forks for leaking oil. When braking, you're compressing the suspension so it could be a fork issue.

Dave- wouldnt i be pushing the throttle instead of twisting it? I can ride fine with the bars being straight. I just cant twist the throttle when the bars are all the way to the left. Ill check the wires tho.

I bought a torque wrench just to torque everything right. So it still does it alittle and i will check the pads. The bearings are bad and i know that, have new ones on the way.

Cant see any oil but will keep an eye out. Thanks for keeping up with me guys!
