I bought a salvage Lightning Long XB12Ss and I am putting the motor in the a frame that I had made. Unfortualy there are no motor mounts because the guy was unsure of where the center is on the motor? Is it the line that separates the the two cases? If you split the difference between the four bolts in the rear of the motor is that the center? How about the the space in between the the two holes that the swingarm pivot goes through? I just want my custom bike to be balanced from left to right. I know the primary side weighs more but I am not sure if the if the affects where the center is. If anyone could help at all that would be great.

make a bracket, hang it up and see if it tilts...once it's straight you have found the center. ;)

Thanks, I talked to a guy at Redneck engineering and he said the same thing.

Choprocket, I am in the market for the tail section for an SS including the under tray. Do you have those parts available?
