Hi All,
i realize there are quite a few topics on the subject but I find they all come up with the same products and as I am looking for an alternative, I thought I'd start again
I would like to reproduce the fit of this bad boy (below) anybody with a smart idea is welcome to share it :D
i have seen it on another bike too, it was prepared by the HD dealer in London, but can't find the pics anymore.
front mounted does it for me as I can't find one that fits in the same place as the GRP but with the look of the LSL.

"netty2424" is most definitely correct. That front mount damper is an Ohlins model.
Erick Buell racing has sells them and according to the site they are in stock.
Click Here (http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/models/xb12/xb-41mm-ohlins-steering-damper-kit.html)
The link I put up is for early XB's with 41mm front forks. They also have them for XB's with 43mm forks.

didnt think there was anywhere near enough clearance to put on under the tree like that. even on a stock buell it recommends you drop the forks through 8mm.
i just took one of the bike i just bought... made it handle way to slow. you should find that with the correct suspension setting for your weight, that the bike doesnt need one. if you are doing it for show, then why not hang it off the right side, like on nitto's bike.
