Buell shirts anyone?

Nice shirt, but BE CAREFULL! Harley-Davidson has agreements with clothing manufacturers for the rights to their logos, trademarks, etc. It would be an open and shut case if Buell/Harley-Davidson wanted to shut you down and get money for damages.

Yeah I thought of that. I took the name "Buell" off of the page, and the product doesn't have a name on it. If cafepress thinks it's risky, they'll pull it. Plus I'm sure it wont sell more than 10 of them, so I think I'm ok

I will consider making some shirts, but they won't be for sale. I would have to get a list together and send them out for free as promotional material. I just can't afford the risk of profiting in any way.

Maybe I will give them out as prizes to members with good reputation scores.

Buellxb could you do some kind of membership/web supporter type thing. The cost of being a supporting/member is the same as the price of the T-shirts + shipping. With being a supporter you get access to the forum and a Free BuellXB.com T-shirt.

I really like that second black shirt. If you could incorporate BuellXB.com somewhere, even if it's small or just on the back of the shirt, that would be sweet.

@GatorBuell - I like your idea. I've seen a number of forums that have set up "Premium Memberships" with all sorts of perks to go along with it. The premium package might cost right around the same as the cost of the shirt + shipping, but would also include other benefits.

I still think I would come up with some system to give out free t-shirts for reputation, post count, contributions (design, video production, blog articles or interviews, links, moderation, etc.)

i quickly photoshopped two google images to create those. they will need to be redone to create a quality graphic for a shirt. so i am assuming you know photoshop. let me know your email and i can send u the files.

i would really like one of these shirts. I dont really care for the buellxb.com text on the second version. IMO its too overpowering and i wouldn't want to be a walking advertisement. i i envisioned it being a smaller font size - centered over the right bicep at the very bottom of the sleeve.

i also had another idea for one. but i have no clue what is possible when it comes to printing these. how large can the graphic be and which part of the shirt can it cover....? I will rough another one up if i get a minute at work today
