I have a '09 buell blast with 1500 miles on it. I purchased it 2 months ago and I have put about 1000 miles on it already. This is my first post on the forum, and I hope to find some advice.
For about two weeks my bike has been showing signs of bad bearings, tire seizing up and squeking at odd times. Well, finally the thing blew. luckily all is well, other than the **** about bearings going bad after 1,500 miles.
Any advice on a good set of aftermarket bearings for a reasonble price, local shop wants 60 a piece for skf 3203-2rs, lady wasn't even sure if they were the right ones. So, I didnt buy 'em.

So, for a follow up, I bought All Balls bearings from amazon scored a set for $15. Will install, and update sometime next week.

Thanks for the info, and the link ghostedrider. So the first bearings i had purchased from amazon.com were for the back wheel, after that I decided to get the parts direct from HD. Found out the bearings that had gone bad were the SFK 62203-2rs1, HD OEM is FAG bearings. Easy install, 5 minutes, back to cruising, feels great.
