They are no longer made new, but you can find them in the classifieds fairly regularly.

Lol

That is just like saying is a XB9/12R and a Firebolt the same thing.

They are one in the same.[up]

buy one! try and get as close to stock and well taken care of as you can. i have a 2007 and it is one of the most fun, best sounding torque monsters i've ever owned. craigslist search tempest is your search friend.

I agree w/ fringe. I picked up a stock 07 with 4k miles for 4500 bucks. Great bike.

I just bought me a 07 XB9SX (City X) as well like 2 weeks ago. It took me months of search and 10 hrs round trip to pick it up but def well worth it. Good luck with your search, ncicu.

I picked up an '05 9SX with under 4k miles for a steal last summer. Most fun on two wheels I've ever had. It's great for my 7mi commute to and from Boston. This has become the summer of mods. Exhaust, wheels, and probably a right side air scoop next with sliders shortly to follow. I absolutely love this bike and find the days on my K1200RS few and far between.

I agree - just got an '09 in March, with just over 1K miles on it, and I'm in love...of course, I had to drive 6 hours each way to pick her up, but totally worth it. Just added the HD right side scoop, and it really helps with the heat.

ain't that the truth? probably the best single thing you can do for the bike.
