I'm looking for an all black Buell Select seat that will fit a lightning S tail. I think its part number 51906-06Y. If anyone has any laying around to sell, shoot me a PM. Thanks!

good luck. they get harder to come by every year. I saw one go for $110 on here several months ago. I was shocked but the seller didn't really realize what he had at the time. You might get lucky but keep hunting. They are gone within minutes when posted on this forum most times.

^^me too. I got lucky and my Scg came with one, but if I had to replace it, I'd pay as above.
Btw, they are great seats--but not as "roomy" as an SS/S seat...

so top of 650 low of 99 median/average of 250-300 thats a big range ... I wonder if it would be best to e-bay it if I decide to sell... SEXT9 I'll keep you in mind for first offer on it either way, if I don't keep it.

Thanks browland. I've heard these are more comfortable than the low seat I currently have. I also like the style of the select because it is different. But then the fact Buells are different is what attacted me to them.

My low seat is a few months old. And maybe it just needs broken in. My wife complained about her portion over the weekend.
I know it's not a compelling sales argument. But, I'd be willing to trade my low seat and some cash if anyone wanted to do that.

Browland, The seat arrived today in excellent condition. The shipping was amazingly fast. Thanks again for the opportunity to purchase.

I have one in rally good shape. It was only used a few hundred miles. The cover has separated from the foam but I understand that's normal for these.
150.00 plus shipping.
