suspension tuning?

Just wondering how to go about tuning the suspension for me. Im 160lbs and I bought the bike from a much smaller guy. The fork bottoms out every now and then(mainly while coming down from small wheelies, never had this with last motorcycles) and I get a weird noise from the front while leaning which I didnt have from my last buell

Sounds like I need to adjust it or what do you guys think?

You have a SCG so it will bottom out more often then a non low model.

I have SCG suspension on my R and I bottom out the forks on some bad bumps on a railroad crossing near me.

My owners manual has step-by-step instructions on tuning for your weight...do you have yours? Whats the year and model? Perhaps I can send you a copy of my tuning sheets. I have a 2007 Lightning manual...

While we're at it, can anyone confirm or dispute if the suspension settings chart is the same for an 08 Scg as it is for the 09 Scg above?

The forks have different adjusters at the top.

One thing to note, the newer forks do no have pre-load reference lines on the adjusters--you have to count rotations of the preload knob (the red knob on top of each leg). Turn them all the way "in" (clockwise), then count out from there.
