Power loss

04 xb12s … When I go full throttle I have a long power loss, anyone have any ideas?

Long as in lag before the power kicks in?

Your best bet is to get ECMSpy and a cable and see what your maps look like. Was it OK before? What changed?

I didn’t mean long sorry about, Just a loss of power, like it was getting no fuel. Just had the fluids and plugs changed. Looking at getting ECMspy and cable to reset my TPS hoping it might help.

Maybe a vacuum leak. Might not hurt to check intake o-rings and make sure your vacuum cap on the side of your throttle body is still good.

Are you having any trouble with it idling? My bike is in the shop right now for a fuel pump. My problems started with it stalling at idle, and then progressed to loss of power when accelerating.

My bike is 2005 XB9SX ~11,000 miles.

Found a split plug wire going to the coil, replaced it and everything is running great. Going to install my jardine this weekend so wish me luck.
