have you adjusted them all the way down?

I put them on my bike and I did the following;

Adjusted the shift lever down with the turnbuckle thingie and then took off the upper mount and replaced it from the 1' o'clock position to the 2' o'clock position. It seems fine afterword.

On the brake I adjusted it all the way down and then ground the back of the lever off about 1/8". Sanded, painted, and reinstalled. Feels fine.

I've seen the drop levers before but they're $$$

I did the same as 2wheeltom but on the brake side there is an adjustment on master cylinder it only has a small amount of adjustment on the threaded rod so i used my dremel to cut off 1/4 inch of the adjustment rod. It work great.

I bought 2' drop pegs from knightdesign. I put them on, re-adjusted the levers and have been riding since.

I did not have to modify anything.
