not Rx but bell does have a transitional shield that will auto darken in bright conditions and progress to clear as it becomes dark.

sounds interesting I have a Bell RS-1 so that could work. What do you mean not Rx? Any leads to links or website on the transitional shield. Thanks

i have the bel sheild, it works great. still need to wear my glasses at night so a custom one would be great.

What do you mean not Rx?

you asked if they have a prescription one. Rx is the abbreviation for prescription. Ive never seen a prescription shield for a motorcycle.

Wow an auto tinting sheild, thats awesome! How do you guys like ur bell helmets on the lightnings? Being it has no cowling I notice a lot of helmet shake when on highways...

how dark do those transition shields get?

i ask because i have a drop down visor in my helmet but it's just not dark enough on a sunny day so i was wondering if this would be a better investment on my next helmet.

also i've noticed they never seem to get truly clear in dark conditions. Is this noticeable on the road?

I always wanted a transition lense for my shoei but they dont make them. I used to wear glasses with transition lenses, there the best.

Can't have a prescription visor. It has to do with the parallax, or distance of the focal lens away from your eye. Aside from the thickness of lenses, there is a reason some people's Rx only fits in certain frames. This would also kill your corrected peripheral vision.

Wear contacts.
