Well after driving 700 miles last Friday to go get her, here is my new baby. Only 3k miles, pristine and purrs like a kitten. A 395lb kitten. Total dream bike.http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/14013_20120618103015_L.jpg

This is my first bike so I'll need to stay at 'purrs' until my skill level increases.:D

No no you misunderstood.LOL No worries though. I was only making refference to the fact you needed a louder muffler. Mine never has purred.

Accessorizing is good, purring is ok, but if you need a little more than a purr, maybe a serious growl, I can make something custom for it.

Oh we forgot to mention to him:

DO NOT use a torque wrench on your drain plugs. Do it by hand and DO NOT overtighten:D

No worries Lesley, I was with ya on the humor. Just didn't want to overstate my abilities. Thanks for the tips all. I've started the accessorizing process. Installed bar end mirrors last night, plugged the holes today. Had the airbox cover and front wind screen buffed out to super gloss thanks to my neighbor. Purchased a set of black Pegasus decals today, will install one one the wind screen to hide an unfixable scratch. Other than that I'm a pretty big fan of the stock look. Maybe some flush mount signals and new levers. We'll see... Definitely LOVING the bike.

Nice bike, keep it clean looking, I always modify something but I try to keep it stock looking, that way the guys who don't know anything don't notice and the guys who know the bike notice something is different but can't quite pick it out.

EXCELLENT! To me the bike takes on a whole new look once you get a set. [up]
