Well i guess some people are assholes. Past week was talking to an older gentleman about buying his 2004 XB12s and confirmed that my dad was going to pick it up for me today since im in afghanistan for another few weeks. Dad made the 2.5 hr trip to pick it up and they sold it earlier this morning and failed to call him or email us saying its been sold... it was a good deal but im more pissed about my dad driving 5 hrs for no reason... anyway end of RANT

No sure where in northeast your looking but my 03 9s/r is for sale Im in Mid NY. Im including everything with it, front/rear stands , extra clutch cable service manual chain conversion stuff rear wheel and a few other odds and ends. New everything after the teardown for powdrcoat as well as HID lights in both holes. 3500

Nrankin, was this through a craigslist ad? If so I remember when I was selling my ninja 250 through CL , I got a lot of people claiming to be deployed and they would send someone to pick it up. Of course they said they'll wire the money or go through ebay. Maybe he thought it was a scam. Should have called you though. Good luck with the search!!

yeah it was through a CL ad... but the thing was my dad called them personally the day before to confirm the address and the time he was coming, so i doubt they thought it was a scam
