Picked up a 07 xb12s. 5900 miles on it. Bike was ridden for a year or 2 then put away. Drained the tank. Pulled the plugs. Dropped a bit of oil down in the cylinders and cranked the motor over. Cleaned the plugs and put them back in. Bike will turn over but has no spark. Surprisingly enough, the fuel in the tank was not all gummed up and nasty, I believe the previous owner put stabil in the gas before he stored it. Any ideas where to start on the no spark condition? I pulled the front plug (damn are these a PITA to get to!) and checked the plug to the head, then checked a screwdriver from the plug wire to the head. Both have nothing. I was thinking possibly checking engine grounds (might have corroded from sitting, environment was kinda salty near the beach) but I really don't know where to start. This is my first buell. All of the dash lights work, fuel pump primes, etc. Just no spark.
