Good Day,

I'm wondering if there is a video or written instructions on how to bleed the brake on the xb9xs.

Thank you.

Bleeding brakes is very very straight forward. crack the bleeder on the caliper, slowly squeeze the brake lever until it bottoms out. Then close the bleeder while you (or a friend) holds the brake lever in. same goes for the rear brakes. just dont get the fluid on any of the plastics/wheels as it will stain it.

1. Fill master cylinder reservoir to recommended level.
2. Loosen caliper bleeder screw then re-snug it. (10mm wrench)
3. Slide clear piece of polypropyl line (clear plastic fuell line for chainsaws work great. Bought my at AutoZone) over caliper bleed screw and place other end in old bottle type container.
4. Go to brake lever or pedal and pump briskly and firmly for perhaps 10 pumps or so. Keep the lever on full pressure and crack bleeder open.
5. Tighten bleeder.
6. Release lever.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 untill break lever is firm and no bubbles coming out into the catch bottle.
REMBER TO KEEP YOUR BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR AT A CORRECT WITH DOT 4 FLUID

i found it is best to remove the cailper and place a piece of wood to block it wide open and hold the bleeder straight up.
The mounting angle of the bleeder makes it easy to trap air in it
