Desperately Seeking Hard to find Front Shock part

I was setting up my bike after not riding it for some time after an illness and I managed to shear the turn bolt in the front right fork, damping adjuster.

My local dealer says I have to buy a new fork!

Does ANYONE have one either from a broken bike or know where I can find one? I've uploaded the image to my profile.

At the top of the page are links to some manuals including a parts manual.

All the individual parts can be ordered assuming anybody carries them. There's two damping adjusters, you'll have to figure out which one you need.

Copy/paste the part number into google and you'll find the price and potential dealers.
