I have a 2010 xb12scg and when i used to start it, the bike would fire up pretty much when you hit the start button. Last night I did the 10,000 mile maintenance adjusted clutch cable, exhaust valve cable, primary chain, changed the oil in both engine and primary. But now today when starting the bike it turns over 3-4 times before it will fire up. Could there have been something i did to cause it? When adjusting the primary chain i removed the fuel pump fuse so i could use the starter to turn the engine over to check multiple points on the chain. Also during idle the bike sounds different and runs "smoother".

My Uly is kinda ornery when cold, if I just stay on the start button, it spins and spins, but, if I just bump the start button, let the pump reprime it will hit right off with the next bump

well the battery is good has full voltage. and luigi it wasn't cold when i started it yesterday probably 70 degrees but then again this morning when leaving work it did the same thing at 55 degrees. the bike is noticeably quieter when im idling in first gear down my road. im thinking it might have something to do with adjusting the exhaust valve. maybe since i bought it the valve was always cracked open and now its not since it was adjusted. I dont know i guess i'll be in the barn this weekend seeing what i can do. thanks for the suggestions though.

Seems like the tps reset did the trick. Tried getting plugs too but no one around has the ngk iridium's. Im passing by a hd dealer tomorrow anyways so I'll pick up stock plugs I've always had better luck with factory parts on other vehicles.
