Hello all!
I'm getting ready to replace my clutch, the bike has 2200 miles. I do allot of stunting on my bike, with that being said I need a clutch that is up for the heavy use and something that will have a strong bite to it. Could I get some suggestions as for the rout I should take. Thanks !!

Clutches in these bikes are pretty stought to start with. Only one I know of is sold by EBR and is just a pack replacement made by Alto Carbonite......Alas they are out of stock. Same is true for the slipper clutch. If you havent smoked that stock clutch yet I would be interested in buying it for a spair if the price is right. I do hope you will convert to chain drive also and spair that poor belt the abuse it will go through.....That too would be nice to have as a spair.

I was thinking either of these two options.

Looks like a replacement kit with an extra friction plate added..... I Know I Have read that getting that extra plate in and the clutch Working properly can be a pain in the ass......I think the reall issue is too muck force to operate the clutch can and will cause ramp failure in the primary case. I looked into the Alto Carbonite and came to the conclusion that removing that extra disk would be the best bet. Im not 100% sure on the make up of the stock plates so even at a minimum upgradeing to Kevlar would help out. I still think the factory clutch will work for ya....I would invest in other upgrades if your hell bent on stunting your XB.

The reason behind all this is my shaft shifter seal is leaking and my clutch cable broke so I figured while I was pulling that cover off I would through in a fresh clutch.

Im at 16k on my stocker and I know of a few on here that are 50k plus, But the abuse of stunting can cause premature failures I suppose. I say if your going to do it get the one from ASB.
