I've decided to sell my XB9s. This is a 100% great running, great condition bike. The bike is wearing satin black custom paint. Mod list:

Custom paint
Black tinted tail light
Integrated arrow turn signals in tail light (Cheese grater is history)
Black tinted front signals
Vent reroute down and out behind left footpeg
Airbox delete
K&N filter
Genuine Buell race exhaust
Bar end mirrors
Chinese adjustable levers
Renthal low rise bars
Right side air intake
Synthetic 10w fork fluid
Mobile 1 used since I owned it
Plate relocate to swingarm
Plate light from undertail
Seat de-straped

I bought the bike from a guy here in Michigan. He owned it for a few months. He was about half way through stripping and polishing the frame. (While the bike was fully assembled) Needless to say, I had to do a full restoration to get all the rubbing compound out of all the crevasses. Its a good thing I got a hold of it when I did, it may have ended up with an extended swingarm and chrome pegs. I'm not a fan of the blinged out look, so it got the blackout / murdered look. Truth be told, I love this bike. I'm only selling to try an 1125r. If I had my way, Id own both... but I don't own enough dough to make that happen. FYI, to accommodate the low rise bars, the controls had to have the customary 75 degrees or so of rotation. Still very usable.

This bike currently has the stock fuel maps loaded, but I can certainly load up the race maps / do a TPS reset at the buyer's request. I've got the passenger pegs to give to the new owner as well.

I'm pricing this at $4,250 OBO, or trade for an 1125r. Maybe someone out there wants to cash in their clip ons and get more upright? Ill help deliver an hour from Lansing, MI, or $50/100 miles after that.

Sorry bout the double post.

I'm pretty sure the law for most states indicate the plate to be horizontal. In Michigan it does. I'm a rebel like that.

If you are looking to do it, use the belt guard mounting bosses located on the inside of the swingarm. A couple button heads, some spacers, and 1/8" aluminum angle and you are done.
