;)

LOL, That looks like something Macgyver would piece together in 5 minutes with some duct tape and a swiss army knife to make a faster getaway....but oddly cool :)

It looks like they used corregated pipe ( dunno if I spelled it right ) Seems it would be better with a smooth pipe...It might be but hard to tell. Either way still its still a kick ass mod[up]

I used to ride a '96 FZR600R and it used almost the same design OEM. Air hole/scoops in the upper cowl and rubber pipe leading toward the engine.

Where do you pickup a windshield like that and what type of added perfomance do you think it will create?

for air getting in, i think it would make significant difference.

the xbrr has a similar kinda setup...
and my guess is that the front fairing used is indeed that of the xbrr.

otherwise mod the stock ;)

Adrenalin Moto (Trojan Horse) did the same on their racing XB. I believe they moded a HALS full fairing. Looks a neat job.

Would you need to do an airbox delete to get the full benefit?

Can you buy a XBRR front fairing? I have looked at modding mine but don't want it to come out looking like s**t.

you can buy a cheap xbr fiberglass front fairing for about 100$, new.
ebay should get you an even cheaper price.

otherwise, i would suggest you page bpg for the price of the xbrr fairing. ;)

Just modify your stock front fairing by removing the low beam light and put in a duct system just like shown on the race bike.

Interesting that the Trojan Horse guys ditched the ZTL brakes...

I like the look of the Macgyver job on the first pic better. All-in-all pretty cool ideas though.

No because the front fairing deflects the air, which makes it Not a ram air since the air isn't being forced into the intake through the front.
