Hey every one im new here and i was thinking about getting a xb9r and had just a couple questions. I was wondering how comfortable every one is riding theirs, i am 6'2" so im fairly tall and am mainly going to use it for going to and from work about 10 miles each way and on weekend rides every once and a while to minnesota (i live in Illinois, so i was wondering how they are on long trips (whats the farthest you have driven in one day, and how far on a tank of gas). any help for my decsion would be great thanks

Hey, I ride an xb9r but I'm only 5'7". I've ridden it about 100 miles before it gets uncomfortable {for me}. It usually gets 120 miles before the fuel light comes on.

I'm 5'10" and ride an xb12Ss, great on long rides solo. Riding 2 is ok for a bit. I really like the lightning because you sit a bit more upright than on the bolt, but you can still tuck and go whenever you feel the need. Plus with no wind protection you definitely know when you are going to fast.

5'10" on a 12R, gettin high 40's to 55 MPG never seen the fuel light. Confidant on getting 150 on a tank. My advice would be a 12Ss or 12X at your height. My knees get a bit cramped on 100 mile rides and you have 4" on me. But a 1203 for sure, save a little longer for the 12.
I am 6'2" and normally ride my xb9r at least 2-3 hrs everytime I go out. Its not bad on the legs with a set of lowering pegs. After 3 hrs its nice to take a little break and walk around. My gas light comes on around 130 miles. I ve pushed it to 145 then got nervous so I stoped for some gas.
