I have a Billit Reverse shift lever for Buell XB series bikes. Replaces the stock lever and linkage and converts to GP style shift pattern. Small scuff on the tip but otherwise in good condition.

is this a relatively easy conversion?

Yep. just pull off the stock lever and linkage and slap this one on. Takes about 2 minutes to change the lever but about 2 days to get used to the reverse shift pattern:D

so its 1 up and 2345 down?

Correct. alot of track guys love the reverse shift pattern but I ride more than one bike on the street so In order to keep from killing myself I want them all to shift the same way.

climber, and who ever else is unsure, they are usefull on the street when you do alot of twisties, with the shift pattern reversed, when you drop into a left handed turn, your foot doesnn't get caught or drag between the pavement and lever.nice addition.

depends on how much twistie riding you do,main thing to do is keep your foot on top of the lever instead of under it,it's not as bad as one would think to get used to,once you got it,it becomes 2nd nature.like i said,do you do that many twisties to pop for the $55,they are pretty much the only place this item will come in handy, just my 2cents.

You can switch stock linkage to be GP shift too. Just an fyi. Not trying to ruin a sale or anything. The Billit piece looks better, is stronger than stock, and ads trick value, thats where its value is.

Absolutely and thanks for bringing it up, If you're interested try swaping your swap linkage first and if you like it the billit piece looks WAY tricker.
