xb12s help needed today plzzz!!

hey guys, in need of your help

im trying to get my friends bike up and running before he comes home(a surprise) i got 07 xb12s that refuses to start.

at first if the TPS was unpluged then it would start, so got a new TPS did the correct programming but still wont start.

now it refuses to start with the TPS pluged or unpluged

it swings, and just backfire.

what can i try. or check or anything in mind?

im thinking its the CPS but how exactly do i get to it?

basics first-got spark? injector pump running?fairly fresh fuel?

^ that's the truth...an as long as the ECM isn't fried. Should run poorly at the least

now it starts up, but back fires ...if i give it a lil rev it stays on a lil bit as soon as i let go of the rev it will cut off

if t back fires it cuts off also, injectors working, fresh fuel,

other than checking all your fuses in main box...what stripes said. if you have fuel, spark and compression it will run. betting fouled plugs. NGK-DCPR9EIX might be your solution.

Definitely sounds like fouled plugs. I'd pull them, if they are black, time to go to the parts store.

Check the tps again, if plugs and such are fine then kind of sounds like the tps was not set past zero before reset. Hook it upto the computer again, screw the tps out (make sure you don't screw it out too far), then reset and so on.

it starts up but when riding it feels like it has a miss,

when riding also it cant get the rpm to 6 in any gear..it like it cant take it

still has a little back fire

what happened that it quit running in first place? plugs can look new but still be fouled!

it came from repair shop for injector cleaning, he rode it about 6 times after and "it began"

just came back from the road testing

has a serious miss and i heard some sweaky noise at the back wheel

while riding the injector indicator came on so gonna have that checked again
