new buell owner

I just recently bought a 2007 Xb12s with 13000 miles. Im just wondering if there's anything I need to make sure I get done on the bike as far as servicing and everything. It seems like there's a small leak coming from around the shifter lever, the old owner told me it is from the breather tube, but this is something I don't necessarily want to be wrong on. If someone can help me out that would be awesome! Additional info is always appreciated as well!

welcome to the forum, change the oil/primary/filter. oil on the shifter lever from the breather tube,hmmm...bad seal on the shifter shaft very possible. take a closer look at everything, remove the airbox cover, entire airbox assy, using a small inspection mirror and flash light would be best to get to those hard to see areas that the frame is hiding from view.
