Looks like EBR made it to a local bike shop north of Dallas.

Didn't know that the bikes were coming to town or I would have stopped by.
It's going to be great to see EBR's other three production bikes make it to the showroom. There's a reason the EBR bikes were there, and I'm looking forward to it. [up]

My buddy who rides a ducati went by there and happened to stumble across them being there. Either they were doing a demo day or some guy was test riding one beceause he saw one of them leave the lot and come back.

I talked to a couple of EBR guys higher up the food chain at RA, also saw it posted elsewhere. Pre-order in the next 2 months, $18,999 and as I heard it, if you pre-order, you get some extras/goodies that you wouldn't get otherwise. Production starts sometime around late September or early October of this year, it (as far as I know) will only be the RX model.

Mind you, I'm a die-hard Buell guy now that I've got 2 of them, but those RSV4's really did catch my eye, at least the engine did. Wouldn't mind making an exhaust system for one just to see what I could do with it for sound and power.

5 months until unveiling, but pre orders in 2 months for a bike that has no pictures out, no specs, no official testing or reviews. Either a lot of mis imformation out there, or EBR is gonna cobble some crap machine together and hope for the best.

I don't think so. Specs will be similar to the RS, slightly heavier (no CF, etc.) and less trick parts, but still a pretty good ride for the price. I'd like to get my hands on one for "testing and development" on the exhaust front.
My guess on parts, probably the showa BPF on the front, maybe ohlins out back and ballpark 165-175 hp at the wheel. Stripped down weight, 375 lbs or less, just depends on what all gets taken off. I know they had to add ballast on the 1190 rr, I think the same with the RS when it came to race weight. I couldn't talk them into rolling one outside so I could see it last week, but I didn't try all that hard either.
