Performance Plugs

Hey guys, just a tidbit here. I put in a pair of those Beull performance plugs from Buellpart.net, and I must say WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Before, I had extremely rough idle problems on my 09 12R. The idle is much smoother now and I have crisp throttle response, when before, it was very sluggish. Now I will just have to see how they affect my gas mileage.

Did you have to rotate the motor to get to the rear plug?

No you dont have to rotate. Just take off the air box cover and go in from the side. You will see.

yea, just use a rotating elbow adapter

What do they look like? Split ends, or 4 prongs or what?

Hey guys..I too used the Buell Pro Series plugs in my 9R and actually saw a decrease in performance. Went back to the original plugs and runs good again. I will go to the NGK Iridiums before spring.
