1125 coolant ?

Why replacing a pod cover I noticed I have no coolant in the expansion tank. Not even a drop. I took the radiator cover off and I was full to the lip almost. I always check my temp when riding and I've never seen it hit above 180. Now I live in a colder climate then most. Most of my good riding days are in 75ish maybe a crazy high of 90 like once or twice a year. Should I worry about this being empty?

I've heard that quite a few were low on coolant from the factory, and people had no problem, but I don't know about that low. If it were my bike, I'd go ahead and fill, just so I could sleep easier at night ;)
