Well one of my buddies that only rides his gsxr 1000 in town asked if i wanted to go for a ride. I said my only stipulation was no in town and i make the route he said he was game haha. Took him for a 4 hour ride through lakes country in MN. He had a blast but couldn't believe the handling and speed out of the corners of the 1125 the only time he caught up was the straits. We swapped bikes and i can honestly say after 30 min i was missing my bike. We had one cruiser with us he just let us play but they both what me to start monthly rides

Inline 4's are bogus. Unless you're on a wide open racetrack with very long straights, there's hardly a point in owning one. My Zx14 was a great bike, so was my GSXR, and a few other I4's I've owned but nothing compares to my TLR, RC51, a couple of Ducs and the four Buell's I've owned. I'll likely own several more bikes before I'm done, but an inline 4 will likely not be part of my collection ever again. Vtwins & v4's is where it's at for me.

It's the truth. My Z1000 was a much more powerful bike, even in the low end, than any Buell I've ridden. The power was also smoother and more easy to control.

'Bogus" is just a term to express my own opinion, of course. We all have our own tastes and preferences. My ZX14 was smoother, more powerful, more responsive, etc, etc. it was "better" at everything. But for me, I4's are so "perfect", they practically bore me. But most of my riding is twisty backroads, and I'd rather flirt w a 7000 rpm redline on a twin than never get to rev out a four unless I'm on the highway doing triple digits, risking jailtime or death just to get to the grunt-zone of an I4. Out of 27 bikes owned in the last 20 yrs, I4's were only 6. Again, just my personal preference.

In the end, all bikes are designed & enjoyed for different reasons and they.'re all a friggin' blast.

LONG LIVE ULYSSES!

I find my buell a bit underpowered compared to a loto fo other v-twin sport bikes of its size, but It is way more fun to ride!!! I've not been on a TLR, but I've heard good things about them!

The TLR had a great engine but very poor suspension. Especially the rotary rear shock. But riding that bike hard made me a better rider, I think. It was a cool bike overall, especially with a full Yoshi Race exhaust.

I love my buell for low speed highway cruising or riding in town, and the few really tight and twisty roads we have around here ... but if I'm in the mood for a little more speed oriented or "less than legal" riding I'll jump on my r6 or 954rr ... I like I-4's, I-3's, and v-twins ... They all have their place and some excel were others fail ...

There's only one here where I live that I know of ... This army dude from Fort Polk has it ... I've only seen him around a handful of times but that thing is a work of asymmetrical art .... It's like a ridiculously fast carbon fiber Picasso on two wheels ... It's the whole 9 yards, the whole she-bang, the whole kit-n-caboodle .... I offered for him to take my 954 out for a spin and he told me they handled pretty similar (Pretty sure that was completely false) but said it was a lot slower than his S1000R (Pretty sure that was completely true) ... You can tell from his tires that he doesn't push his bike into the curves very far at all, but if I had a bike like that I sure as hell wouldn't either ...
